Privacy and cookies
This notice transparently explains how Melkar SA processes data when you visit the site, choose optional audience measurement or use the contact form.
Controller
Melkar SA, Chemin des Vergers 8, 1023 Crissier, Switzerland, is the controller for the processing described in this notice. For any data-related question or request: info@melkar.ch.
Processing is governed primarily by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). The European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies where its territorial conditions are met.
Website access and security
The hosting and security provider may process technical data required to deliver and protect the site, including the IP address, date and time, requested resource, browser type and diagnostic information. Melkar SA does not create its own database of raw browsing logs.
Cloudflare Turnstile loads only on the contact page to distinguish people from automated submissions. It may process the IP address, TLS fingerprint, user-agent, site key and origin. This is necessary to secure the form and does not depend on your audience-measurement choice.
Optional audience measurement
With your consent, Cloudflare Web Analytics measures viewed pages, referrer, country, device type, browser, operating system and loading performance. It operates without analytics cookies, does not record query strings, does not follow people across different sites and is used neither for advertising nor profiling.
Where the GDPR applies, this processing is based on your consent. The tool loads only after a positive choice. You may refuse without losing access to the site and withdraw your consent at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Contact form
When you contact Melkar SA, we process your name, email address, telephone number if provided, project type and location, message, selected language and technical information required for security. We use this information to assess your enquiry, reply and manage the resulting exchange.
Where the GDPR applies, processing is necessary to take steps at your request before a possible contract or is based on our legitimate interest in responding to professional enquiries. Submitting the form neither concludes a contract nor constitutes consent to receive marketing.
Recipients and international transfers
Data is available only to authorised Melkar SA personnel and, where necessary, providers responsible for hosting, security, message delivery and email. The site is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA on infrastructure located in Switzerland. Cloudflare provides Turnstile and, with your consent, Web Analytics. Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) delivers contact-form content to Melkar SA’s email inbox.
Cloudflare and Resend are established in the United States and may use international subprocessors. Transfers are protected, as applicable, by an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses adapted to Swiss and European law or another recognised safeguard. Provider processing locations and subprocessor lists may change.
Retention periods
An enquiry and resulting correspondence are deleted no later than 24 months after the last exchange if no business relationship begins. If information becomes necessary for a contract, accounting, the establishment or defence of legal claims, or another legal obligation, only the required data is retained for the applicable statutory period.
Your audience-measurement choice is stored on your device for six months. Melkar SA can access aggregated Cloudflare Web Analytics reports for six months. Technical data held by providers is retained under their applicable security and service retention periods.
Your rights
Depending on the applicable law, you may request access, correction, delivery, portability, restriction or deletion of your data and object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.
Send requests to info@melkar.ch. We may verify your identity before responding. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or, where the GDPR applies, the competent supervisory authority.
Automated decisions, security and changes
Melkar SA does not sell data collected through this site, use it for behavioural advertising or make decisions with legal effects solely through automated processing. It does not create personality or marketing profiles.
Proportionate technical and organisational measures are used to protect data, although no online service can guarantee absolute security. This notice is updated when the processing or applicable requirements change.
